As part as a collaboration with DERT, students in Collab: Design for Literacy have the opportunity to redesign classic literature for today’s kids. I decided to give The Tortoise and The Hare a more contemporary visual treatment, as many past publications of this story are old-school and drawn by hand. Additionally, I adapted the story for a more accessible and fun reading experience, while keeping it close to the original Aesop text.
